The Greater Manchester Police and Crime Panel is the police and crime panel for Greater Manchester. The purpose of the police and crime panel is to scrutinise the directly elected Mayor of Greater Manchester who is responsible for the Greater Manchester Police.

Membership

Membership of the panel is made up of the council leader or directly elected mayor of each local authority in Greater Manchester. Two additional members are co-opted who have relevant skills, knowledge and experience.[1]
