Former chancery of the embassy, 2014

The Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Bonn was built in 1989/90. It was the penultimate purpose built construction of an embassy in Bonn before the transfer of the German government to Berlin in 1999. It is still owned by the country and used occasionally for events of the Deutsch-Syrische Gesellschaft (German-Syrian society).
