Latris is a genus of fish in the family Latridae native to the southern oceans.[1]

There are currently two recognized species in this genus:[1]
- Latris lineata (J. R. Forster, 1801) (Striped trumpeter)
- Latris pacifica C. D. Roberts, 2003 (Silver trumpeter)
