Perigea xanthioides (red groundling moth or pied groundling moth) is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found from Canada to Brazil and on Jamaica.[1]

The wingspan is about 29 mm.[2]

The larvae feed on Vernonia[3] and Eutrochium species.[4]
