Matthew M. "Matt" Gabler (born July 13, 1983) was first elected to represent the 75th Legislative District in November 2008, defeating incumbent Dan Surra.[2]

Career

Gabler is a former research analyst in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He was also commissioned to serve as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army Reserve upon graduating from Bucknell University. He served as commander of the Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 424th Multifunctional Medical Battalion before accepting his current assignment as a Medical Logistics Officer with the Headquarters, 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He currently holds the rank of Captain.[3]

Personal

Gabler graduated Valedictorian from DuBois Central Catholic High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 2006 with a minor in physics from Bucknell University.[3]
