The Bulletin of Mathematical Sciences is a peer-reviewed scientific journal of mathematics published by Springer Open as a diamond open access journal. The journal concentrates on publishing high level expository papers, mostly invited, in all areas of mathematics, as well as short papers with original research.[1] The journal publishes one volume per year, consisting of three issues. The journal's Executive Editors are Efim Zelmanov, S.K. Jain and Ahmed Alsaedi.

Publication model

The journal is published as a diamond open access journal, meaning that the content is immediately freely available to the readers, and the authors do not have to pay any author publication fees. All the Springer Open author publication fees are covered by the King Abdulaziz University.

The journal started publication in 2011,[2] and was launched by the King Abdulaziz University.[1]

Indexing

The journal is abstracted and indexed in MathSciNet, Zentralblatt MATH, Current Contents/Physical, Chemical & Earth Sciences, and the Science Citation Index. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2016 impact factor of 1.138.[3] For 2016 the journal's Mathematical citation quotient (MSQ) from MathSciNet was 0.97.[4] The journal's SCImago Journal Rank (SJR indicator) score for 2016 is 1.215.[5]
