The Adamów brown coal mine is a large mine in the centre of Poland in Turek, Greater Poland Voivodeship, 208 km west of the capital, Warsaw. Adamów represents one of the largest lignite reserve in Poland having estimated reserves of 90 million tonnes of coal.[1] The annual coal production is around 1.6 million tonnes.
