George Washington Flint (born March 2, 1844) was an American academic administrator who served as the president of University of Connecticut from 1898 to 1901.[1][2] Born in Westport, Maine, he graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine in 1871.[1] Previous to his assumption of the presidency, he worked in secondary school administration at Franceston Academy and West Lebanon Academy in Maine.[1]
