Qazsport is the first Kazakh national sports TV channel.[1] It is launched on 1 July 2013 as KAZsport and based in Astana, Kazakhstan. Sports broadcasts on Qazsport, including broadcasts of Kazakh championships and live broadcasts of major international sporting events, will account for 70% of programming. The commentators are well-known Kazakh sports journalists, commenting in Kazakh and Russian. There are also news, own productions and sports documentaries in the programme schedule.
