Daria Vassilyanska

Daria Kozmova Vassilyanska (in Bulgarian Дария Козмова Василянска) is a Bulgarian artist.

Biography

Daria Vassilyanska was born on 28 November 1928 in Varna, Bulgaria. Graduated the National Academy of Arts in Sofia in 1955, specialty painting, under Prof. Iliya Petrov.

Lives and works in Varna. She is wife of the Bulgarian theatre director Stancho Stanchev.

Free-lance artist. Works in the field of easel painting, stage design, monumental and decorative mural painting, decorative applied projects.

Since 1959 participant in national, group and regional exhibition of the Union of the Bulgarian Artists.

Her works are property of 23 state art galleries in Bulgaria, various institutions and private collectors in Bulgaria and abroad.

She died on 4 December 2017.
