"Let a Woman Be a Woman" is a 1969 song by Dyke and the Blazers.[1] It was sampled by the band the Heavy for their hit song "How You Like Me Now?" from the 2009 album The House That Dirt Built.[2][failed verification] [3]
Description
The song, a streetsmart funk number breaks into two building site sound effects: the first a siren - the second a cross signal sound, the latter became one of the most sampled musical segments in hip hop.
