Adele Rose is an English television writer.

Born in Salford, she was a prolific scriptwriter for Coronation Street, and its longest serving contributor, responsible for penning about 450 scripts for the soap opera between 1961 and her eventual departure from the programme in 1998.[1] Jack Rosenthal was responsible for encouraging Rose to begin writing.[1]

She also wrote for the children's series Byker Grove and the comedies Robin's Nest and Bless This House.
