120th Yard[1][2] is a proposed rail yard for the Red Line of the Chicago Transit Authority as part of the Red Line Extension, The yard would hold a capacity of 340 train cars, and would be sited on a combination of industrial and vacant land east of the Metra Electric tracks and west of the South Shore Line tracks, The yard would be entirely at-grade, Parking spaces for CTA employees would be included at the yard.
