The Guyana Girl Guides Association is the national Guiding organization of Guyana. It serves 819 members (as of 2003). Founded in 1922, the girls-only organization became a full member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1969.

Program

The association is divided in three sections according to age:[1]

  • Brownie Guide - ages 7 to 11
  • Girl Guide - ages 10 to 16
  • Ranger Guide - ages 14 to 20
