Napoleonic War

Ivan Fyodorovich Emme (Russian: Иван Фёдорович Эмме; 1763–1839) was a Russian lieutenant general in the Napoleonic Wars. He commanded the city defences at the Siege of Riga in 1812 and successfully repulsed Marshal Jacques MacDonald's invading forces.
