Hellinsia barbatus is a moth of the family Pterophoridae that is found in Colombia and Costa Rica.
The wingspan is 22 millimetres (0.87 in). The forewings are ochreous and the markings are dark brown. The hindwings and fringes are grey‑brown. Adults are on wing in May.[1]
