Bertie Cunningham is a retired inter-county Irish Gaelic footballer for County Meath in Ireland. He enjoyed much success play inter-county football in the sixties and early seventies on the Meath team. For Meath he usually played at Centre Back. He played club football for Ballivor. He won his first Leinster medal with Meath in 1964. During his playing career he has won 1 Senior All Ireland medal (1967) as well as four Leinster medals. In 1967, he was chosen as the Texaco Footballer of the Year.
