Adam Michael Bagni (/ˈbæɡni/; born November 16 in Taunton, MA) is an American journalist and sportscaster, who currently works at WCVB.[1]
Biography
College
Bagni is a graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia. While at La Salle, he served as General Manager of WEXP and was the play-by-play voice for campus radio sports broadcasts.[2][3] He was also a writer for the Collegian.
Career
Bagni currently works as a reporter at WCVB in Boston. Previously, he was an anchor/reporter at KPNX[4] in Phoenix, where he also contributed to the station's investigative unit.[5] He was previously a reporter at WHDH in Boston[6][7] and the Massachusetts bureau reporter,[8][9] and a sports anchor/reporter,[10][11] for WJAR. During his time there, he also worked on radio as a flash anchor on WEEI.[12]
Previously, he was the Sports Director at WNCF.[13][14][15][16] He left the station in March 2011.[17][18][19][20][21][22][23]
Bagni has received multiple Emmy Award nominations by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences,[24][25] as well as honors from the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association, Alabama Broadcasters Association [26][27] and Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters.[28]
