David Kakuta Mulwa (born 9 April 1945) is a Kenyan writer, academic, theatre director and actor. He is currently a Theatre Arts lecturer in Kenyatta University School of Visual and Performing Arts

Biography

Born in Mukaa, Machakos County, Kenya and educated at Nairobi University, he is the author of several novels (including Master and Servant, 1979) and plays (including Redemption, 1989),"Clean Hands","The Inheritance" Since 1984 he has been the director of the Kenya Performing Arts Centre in Nairobi.He together with Wasambo were pioneered the Kenya National Drama Festivals.
