Janet Kirina Nariki is a Kenyan actress, singer, songwriter, TV host, and producer. Kirina is known for her role in Makutano Junction.

Early life

On 25 April 1986, Kirina was born as Janet Kirina Nariki in Kajiado, Kenya.[1]

Career

Acting

Kirina has appeared in several Kenyan television and film productions. She has appeared in the educative soap opera, Makutano Junction. She played an epileptic young lady that is quite insecure and she and her partner Tony run a restaurant business from the Mabuki family. She played alongside, Charles Ouda, Wanja Mworia, Emily Wanja and Maqbul Mohammed. As from 2010, she hosted a Kid-show, Know Zone, where she co-hosted with Charles Ouda, having been colleagues in Makutano Junction[2]

Music

Kirina ventured in music on 22 February 2013 where she released her debut single, "Night Out".[3] In August 2013, she released her second single, and "Kata Kata",[4] "Niingize Box".[5] By 2015, she hasn't clarified yet plans for her debut album.
