West Papua may refer to:

  • Western New Guinea, the western half of the island of New Guinea administered by Indonesia since 1962
  • West Papua (province), an administrative province of Indonesia created in 2003 comprising the Bird's Head Peninsula, Bomberai Peninsula, and adjacent islands
  • Republic of West Papua, a state whose independence was claimed in 1971
