Bhaduri is a Bengali Hindu Brahmin surname used by the members of Bhaduri family. Bhaduris are Barendra brahmins of the Kashyapa gotra.[1] They are originally from Bhaturiya village inside undivided British Indian territory (presently in Bangladesh) but settled in Kolkata, the capital of Indian state West Bengal. Most of the Bhaduris have significantly contributed to the development Bengali-Indian art and culture since the British Raj.
