"Brilliant Mind" is a song by British band Furniture, from their second album The Wrong People. Released as a single in 1986, it reached No. 21 on the UK Singles Chart in July of that year,[1] and remains as the band's only hit song to chart.

The song was featured in the John Hughes film Some Kind of Wonderful and appears on the film's soundtrack.
