"Stomp" is a song by Steps, released as a single, which became the group's second and last single to hit No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart.[1] Debuting at No. 1 in October 2000 and spending 11 weeks on the UK chart, this track was later released in Australia, Japan, and Europe. The song features (with minor alterations in key and modulation) an orchestral riff from "Everybody Dance", released by Chic in 1978. Claire, Faye, Lisa and H sing lead vocals.
Music video
The video was filmed in Chiswick[citation needed] and features group members Lisa and H looking after a penthouse apartment while the owner Bill (Dave Legeno) is away on business. They, and the other group members, then throw a party for all their friends, but struggle to tidy up before the owner returns. Lee Latchford-Evans rides a Honda CBR 600 FX/Y to the party.
