Ramon Bejarano (born July 17, 1969) is an American priest of the Catholic Church for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Stockton. He will serve as auxiliary bishop for the Diocese of San Diego upon his consecration and installation in April 2020.

Biography

Bejarano was born in Laredo, Texas on July 17, 1969. His family is from Chihuahua, Mexico and lived there from 1972 to 1987. He holds a Master of Philosophy from the Diocesan Seminary of Tijuana, and a Master of Divinity from Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon. On August 15, 1998, Bejarano was ordained to the priesthood. He is incardinated in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Stockton.

Episcopal career

Pope Francis appointed Bejarano auxiliary bishop for the Diocese of San Diego on February 27, 2020.[1] [2] On April 21, 2020, Bejarano will be consecrated as a bishop.
