Bondo is a town in Siaya County of Kenya. It the largest town of the county. Bondo is located 50 kilometres west of Kisumu, the provincial capital. Bondo forms a town council with a population of 33,468 [1] (2009 census).

Bondo is home to the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology

Bondo town council has five wards: Ajigo, Bar Kowino East, Bar Kowino West, Bondo Town and Nyawita. All of them are part of Bondo Constituency.[2]

Bondo is a luo name of African Milk Tree (Euphorbia trigona). the places named Bondo are as a result if the dominance of the African milk tree in those areas.
