Richard Callaway (2 August 1860 – 19 March 1935 at Sydney, New South Wales) was a cricket Test match umpire.

He umpired 3 Test matches between Australia and England in the 1901/02 season. In his first match, at Sydney on 13 December to 16 December 1901, he stood with Bob Crockett in a match which England won by an innings.

His younger brother Sydney played Test cricket for Australia.
