Mazur (archaic feminine: Mazurowa, plural Mazurowie) is the 14th most common surname in Poland (68,090 people in 2009).[1][2] The word signifies membership in the Masurians ethnic group.

Over 70% of people with this surname live in the south of Poland (mainly between Katowice and Lublin).
