Stádlec is a market town and municipality (obec) in Tábor District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 18.12 square kilometres (7.00 sq mi), and has a population of 617 (as at 28 August 2006).
Stádlec lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) west of Tábor, 45 km (28 mi) north of České Budějovice, and 79 km (49 mi) south of Prague.
The Stádlec suspension bridge over the Lužnice river connects Stádlec with the township of Dobřejice.
