Boon is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Boon Township, Wexford County, Michigan, United States. Its population was 167 as of the 2010 census.[1] The community is located within the Manistee National Forest and was platted in 1889.[3] Boon has a post office with ZIP code 49618, which opened on December 19, 1889.[4][5]
