Lake Township is one of twelve townships in Buchanan County, Missouri, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 49.

Lake Township takes its name from Lake Contrary.[3]

Lake Township covers an area of 9.85 square miles (25.5 km2) and contains no incorporated settlements.
