Namchi-Singhithang is the constituency of the 5th and incumbent Chief Minister of Sikkim Mr. Pawan Chamling who is representing this constituency in the Elections for the Legislative Assembly of Sikkim 2014. Since 1994, he has been the Chief Minister of Sikkim.

Chamling won this seat in 2014 Sikkim Legislative Assembly Elections and the Chief Ministership of Sikkim for 5 consecutive terms in 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009, 2014, the second Chief Minister in India to do this after Jyoti Basu, the Ex-CM of West Bengal.[1][2][3][4]
