The village of Maniava, Ukraine

Maniava or Manyava (Ukrainian: Манява) is located on the banks of the Maniavka River in the Bohorodchany district, Ivano-Frankivsk province of Western Ukraine. It is a village of about 3,500 people and is situated in the Ukrainian Carpathian mountains.

The famous Orthodox Maniava Skete monastery is located on its outskirts, as well as the highest waterfall (Manyavskyi vodospad) in Ukraine's Carpathian mountains – the height of the waterfall is 14 meters.
