The Price of Fame is the fifth studio album by American rapper Bow Wow. It was released on December 19, 2006. The first single "Shortie Like Mine" featuring Chris Brown and Johntá Austin. The second single "Outta My System". The third single "I Don't Know About That". The fourth and final single was supposed to be "4 Corners", but was never released as a single and a video was not shot. The album debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200 chart, with 262,001 copies sold in the first-week of sales.[3] A month later the album was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) with an excess of 500,000 copies.[4] Producers and guest appearances are featured on the album, including Jermaine Dupri, Chris Brown, Johntá Austin, Young Jinsu, The late Pimp C, T-Pain, Lil Scrappy, Short Dawg, Khleo Thomas, Young Capone, R. Kelly, Nitty, Lil Ronnie, among others. As of November 26, 2008 the album has sold 600,000 copies in the U.S.
