Zachary Louvaine Mills[2] (born 28 May 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays for Oldham Athletic, as a right back.

Career

Born in Peterborough, Mills played non-League football for Histon and Boston United,[3] before signing for League Two club Grimsby Town in June 2016.[4] He made his Grimsby debut in the EFL Trophy on 30 August 2016, after suffering a hamstring injury in pre-season.[5] He was released by Grimsby at the end of the 2017–18 season.[6] In June 2018 it was announced that he would sign for Morecambe on a one-year contract on 1 July 2018, alongside Rhys Oates.[7] In May 2019, following the end of the 2018–19 season, Mills won three awards at Morecambe's end of the season awards, including Player of the Year.[8] In June 2019, after turning down a new contract at Morecambe, it was announced that he would sign for Oldham Athletic.[9]

Playing style

Mills plays primarily as a right back, but can also play elsewhere in defence or midfield.[10]
