Pending LRT station (BP8) (pronounced as pern ding) is an LRT station on the Bukit Panjang LRT line in Singapore, opposite the Bukit Panjang Community Club.

Etymology

Pending LRT Platform 2

The station is located along Pending Road. Pending refers to a large "waist buckle" in Malay.[1]

Notable incidents

At about 10pm on 26 August 2018, angered by his wife's refusal to return to their matrimonial home, a man punched her repeatedly in the face and continued his assault on her when she fell to the ground and fainted. As a result of the attack, the victim suffered various injuries including a fracture of her jawbone, bruising over her arm and finger and bleeding on her skull.[2]
