Rajasthan Sports University[2] is an upcoming residential and afflicting university situated in the Jhunjhunu district of the Indian state Rajasthan to promote the sports education in state Rajasthan. It is stabilised on the lines of Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University and Swarnim Gujarat Sports University. After many years of passing the act, it is still not functional but sports universities like Punjab Sports University established after are functional now.
History
The university was established in the year 2013 by Rajasthan Legislative Assembly by passing The Rajasthan Sports University, Jhunjhunu Bill, 2013.[3] The jurisdiction of the university comprises whole Rajasthan state.
