Alison Smyth trained in vocal performance at The Glenn Gould School in Toronto. She is a member of the Canadian Actors' Equity Association (CAEA) and ACTRA and became a certified yoga teacher in 2014 through the Downward Dog Yoga Centre in Toronto. In January 2016, Alison launched her own studio Alison Smyth Performing Arts. The studio specializes in personal coaching for talent in areas such as acting, singing, mentoring, styling and more.
