Hiba Schahbaz

Hiba Schahbaz (born 1981) is a Pakistani-American painter.[1] Schahbaz was born in Karachi, Pakistan. She is known for her contemporary paintings that invoke classical styles.[2][3]

Schahbaz trained as a miniaturist painter at the National College of Arts in Lahore, Pakistan,[4][5] and received an MFA degree from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.[6] She began her career painting with a series of miniature paintings,[6] later expanding to larger scale works.[7][8]

Schahbaz lives and works in New York.[9]
