James Lutz (born March 31, 1998)[1] is an American compound archer. In 2019 he became world champion in the men's individual compound event at the 2019 World Archery Championships held in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.[1][2] He is the fifth compound archer from the United States to become world champion in this event.[2][3] In the final he defeated Anders Faugstad of Norway.[2]
In 2020 he finished in 26th place in the men's compound event at The Vegas Shoot held in Las Vegas, United States.[4]
