2020 in Glory will be the ninth year in the history of the international kickboxing promotion. The year started with Glory 75: Utrecht. The events are broadcast through television agreements with Fight Network, UFC Fight Pass, and other regional channels around the world.

Background

This event featured the third fight between the champion Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao and top contender Serhiy Adamchuk for the Glory Featherweight Championship as the Glory 75: Utrecht headliner.[1]

Mohamed Mezouari has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled GLORY 75 co-main event bout with Dmitry Menshikov due to an injury. The bout will be rescheduled to a future Glory card.

Background

This event will feature the third fight between the champion Cedric Doumbe and top contender Murthel Groenhart for the Glory Welterweight Championship as the Glory 76: Antwerp headliner.

Zakaria Zouggary has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled GLORY 76 superfight series main event bout with Anvar Boynazarov due to knee injury he has suffered in training. The bout will be rescheduled to a future Glory card.

Glory 78: Rotterdam (also known as Badr vs. Benny)[3][4] will be a kickboxing event held by Glory at the Rotterdam Ahoy in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It was planned previously to take place on June 20, 2020, but was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.[5]

Background

The event will be the fourth that the promotion has hosted in Rotterdam and first since Glory 62 in December 2018.

A heavyweight bout between former two-time heavyweight title challenger and current No. 2 contender Benjamin Adegbuyi and No. 3 contender Badr Hari has been slated to serve as the event headliner.[6]
