Myo Aung (Template:Lang-my, born 17 February 1951) is a Burmese politician and medical doctor, currently serves as an Amyotha Hluttaw MP for Kayin State No. 9 constituency. He is a member of National League for Democracy.[1][2]

Early life and education

Myo was born on 17 February 1951 in Kawkareik Township, Kayin State, Myanmar. He graduated with M.B.B.S from University of Medicine 2, Yangon. He is also a medical doctor and opened a private clinic in Kawkareik.[1]

Political career

He is a member of the National League for Democracy. In the 2015 Myanmar general election, he was elected as an Amyotha Hluttaw MP from Kayin State No. 9 parliamentary constituency. He also serves as the member of Amyotha Hluttaw's Bill Committee and as a chairman of Naypyidaw Development Committee.[3][4][5]
