Tesfaldet Simon Tekie (born 4 July 1997) is a Swedish footballer who plays for Dutch club Fortuna Sittard in the Eredivisie as a midfielder.

Club Career

On 9 September 2019, Tekie signed a two-year contract with the option of a third for Fortuna Sittard.[1]

International

He made his debut for the Sweden national football team on 11 January 2019 in a friendly against Iceland, as a starter.[2]

Personal life

Tekie was born in Eritrea, but moved to Gothenburg, Sweden, as a nine-year-old.[3]
