Maraq is a Somali and Yemeni soup dish. There are many variations, including that made of pumpkin,[1] a chicken variation,[2] or goat meat variation.[3] In Indonesia, this dish called as marak and quite popular in Arab Indonesian communities, especially in Java.[4][5]
