Aaron G. Frenkel (born September 9, 1957 in Israel) is an international businessman and investor.
Career
Since the 1980s, Frenkel has been the owner of Loyd's Group of Companies, which deals with investments in the domains of property and real estate,[1] civil aviation and aerospace industries, energy and hi-tech.[2] The group was formed as part of the efforts to develop the economies of central and eastern Europe. The development was concentrated at the time on sharing technology, equipment, knowhow and capital from international companies in western countries interested, in contributing to their development and economic flourishing of the aforementioned countries.
As a representative of the main civil aviation industries[3] in Central & Eastern Europe (Boeing, Airbus, Gulfstream, Agusta), Frenkel established the Loyd's Group,[4] aiming to bring western aviation products, advanced technology and equipment to these eastern countries. The company is estimated to be involved in investments of over 35 billion dollars in the last 25 years. The Group is involved in all stages of property development, starting from designing and planning to implementation and management.

Philanthropy
Limmud FSU was founded in 2006, and Frenkel serves as its President.[12][13] Limmud FSU engages young Russian-Jewish adults and empowers them to take ownership of their identity and connect with their communities through pluralistic, egalitarian volunteer-driven conferences of Jewish learning and culture.[14][15]
Frenkel funded and donated the Frenkel Emergency Medical Centre (FEMC), located at the Yad Sarah Centre Jerusalem in Sep 2017. FEMC includes medical imaging department, treatment rooms, laboratory and other facilities. This new emergency centre treats the milder emergency cases and those which do not require hospitalisation.[16]
Personal life
Frenkel is married to Maja Ruth Frenkel and they have 5 children. They live in Monaco.
