This is a list of women who served as heads (governors) of Federal subjects of Russia.

History

The first female Governor in Russia was Valentina Bronevich who was Governor of Koryak Okrug from 1996 to 2000.

There are currently from 85 governors there only one female governor, this is Natalya Komarova of Khanty–Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
