Natasha Smith has been the Australian High Commissioner to Canada since February 2018. The Commission also has responsibility for Bermuda.[1]

Her personal goal as Commissioner is “championing diversity issues. This includes working with Canadian counterparts on indigenous issues, gender equality and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) rights.”[2]

Smith earned a Bachelor of Economics from James Cook University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.[1]
