The 2020 Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship will be 17th edition of the championship to be held from 6 to 15 October 2020 at Shiraz, I. R. Iran under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation (AHF).[1][2] It will be fifth time in history that championship will be organised by the Islamic Republic of Iran Handball Federation (IRIHF). It also acts as the qualification tournament for the 2021 Men's Junior World Handball Championship. Top four teams from the championship will directly qualify for the Junior World Championship to be held in Hungary.

On 8 March 2020, the AHF decided to postpone the championship due to COVID-19 pandemic.[3] Previously, the championship was scheduled to take place from 10 to 21 July 2020.[4]

Draw

The schedule of draw will be announced soon by the Asian Handball Federation.

Seeding

Teams were seeded according to the AHF COC regulations and rankings of the previous edition of the championship. Teams who had not participated in the previous edition were in Pot 4.
