Yoshinogawa, Tokushima
Yoshinogawa (吉野川市, Yoshinogawa-shi) is a city located in Tokushima Prefecture, Japan.
As of June 1, 2019, the city has an estimated population of 39,405 and a population density of 273 persons per km². The total area is 144.14 km².
The modern city of Yoshinogawa was established on October 1, 2004, from the merger of the towns of Kamojima, Kawashima and Yamakawa, and the village of Misato (all from Oe District, which was dissolved as a result of this merger).
The eponymous Yoshino River forms the northern border of the city.
