USS Yorktown, patrol gunboat built by William Cramp & Sons, Philadelphia for US Navy.[3]

- HMS Nymphe, a Nymphe-class composite screw sloop built at Portsmouth Dockyard.[4]

- HMS Daphne, a Nymphe-class composite screw sloop built at Sheerness Dockyard.[5]

- SS Gulf of Corcovado launched by Hawthorn Leslie and Company, Hebburn.[6]

- USS Charleston – protected cruiser built by Union Iron Works, San Francisco for US Navy.[7]

- SS Missouri launched by William Gray & Company, West Hartlepool. Served as U.S. Army hospital ship during War With Spain, later Army transport Egbert.[12][13]
